A Pastor

“My wife and I found ourselves in the middle of a huge marital and ministerial train wreck this past year. Because of my infidelity we faced a very uncertain future. The emotional pain, shame, and public devastation was virtually unbearable.

Part of our restoration process involved seeking counsel at Restoring the Soul. This was a major turning point for us.

Through loving care and the guidance of the Holy Spirit working through Michael, we were able to not only stop the emotional hemorrhage but to experience a life saving surgery of our souls. We saw root issues we had not seen in over 30 years of marriage. We are now alive again at the heart level but with a new set of eyes that will never look at hurting people in the same way again.

If you are hurting, don’t think there is no hope. Seek help!”

A Physician

“On the outside, our marriage was a model of Christian love and professional service. But years of heart-deadening numbness had pushed my wife and me into separate worlds where only counterfeit passions controlled and consumed us and lies held us in bondage.

We desperately wanted the truth, but all we found from our past with church and community was technique; not life transforming, prison-wall-smashing truth.

Michael and the ministry of Restoring the Soul is not about making you feel better. This is a ministry that operates as an Emergency Room for the soul, and through the soul care intensives life change is offered that is truly life and hope for the hopeless.

While no one wants to go to an Emergency Room just for kicks, when a marriage is on the line, when there has been deep failure and deception, when worlds are crashing down around you, there is no better place.

Restoring the Soul offers intensive care to those who need it and at the right time and in the right way.”

A Business Leader

“A few years ago my marriage was collapsing. My wife had an affair and it nearly killed me, us, and our kids. The reality though, is that even before what happened between my wife and I, I was already dead. I was dead to what was going on around me, my heart, and relationships.

I was a workaholic–striving for acceptance from others and from God. I couldn’t rest and I didn’t know how to ask for help.

I was performing at the highest level and receiving all sorts of praise and affirmation from those I worked for and with. I was at the top of my game except my heart was dead and so was my marriage.

We landed at Restoring the Soul not knowing what to expect. All I wanted initially was to have my wife fixed and get us going on the “hard, straight and narrow” again for God. What I soon learned was that God had much more in store for me than fixing my marriage. God wanted me. He wanted all of me and He wanted to show me his love like never before.

It was an amazing, eye opening, Spirit filled 2 weeks. God met my wife and I in amazing ways. We have never felt the love of God like this. We felt his forgiveness and his renewing hope in our hearts.

We realized that our marriage was dead. But God gave us a new marriage built on a new foundation. A foundation where we can accept our failures, love each other without receiving something back and understand God has something much deeper and richer for us. We have received a gift. We have a new marriage, a new lease on life and many new opportunities to experience God’s grace than we did before.”
