Intensive Counseling Process Please use the form below to register for your intensive.Self Assessment Questions* I have been referred by a counselor or mental health professional who has had clients participate in intensive counseling programs with Restoring the Soul. I have been referred by a ministry, non-profit, or NGO who has sent staff to intensive counseling programs with Restoring the Soul. I have had friends or family members participate in intensive counseling programs with Restoring the Soul. I live in the U.S. or Canada, but in an area with no substantial Christian counseling resources. I have exhausted all known Christian counseling resources at the local level where I live. I am in counseling (or have recently been in counseling) and am not experiencing the progress or healing I had hoped for. I have been told by a mental health professional or other professional caregiver that I need more help or treatment than what is offered in traditional weekly counseling sessions. I am in counseling and making progress, but feel that with intense focus and the right environment, I may experience an important breakthrough. I have been told by my spouse or a family member that I need more help than I’m getting. I have been told by my spouse (or told my spouse) that without intensive counseling our marriage is not going to make it. My marriage is on the brink of demise, and intensive counseling is the only thing we haven’t tried. I have a behavioral addiction (not substances) and am seeking treatment options which are more than traditional counseling, but less than inpatient hospitalization. I am an expatriate living abroad with no access to counseling resources, mental health care, or soul care. I/we have invested a great deal of time and money in couples or individual counseling but still struggle profoundly. I have a specific window of time coming up, during which I want to press in and dig deeper into my personal issues and emotional/spiritual growth. I believe that extended time away from everyday pressures and responsibilities will create an environment for me to get the help I need. I am a leader in my community and wish to remain anonymous and private as I pursue healing individual or marriage issues. I have experienced a major life crisis and need to get away from my normal routines and community while remaining in a supportive environment. I recently lost my job/career/ministry due to personal issues and need a place to process all that has happened. I am beginning or in the midst of a professional sabbatical and want to plan a focused time for personal and spiritual growth. I believe I am experiencing burnout or exhaustion from ministry and I need a place away from home to heal.ResultsAlthough there is no exact science to determine if an intensive is right for you, the more boxes you check the more your situation aligns with the intensive counseling approach. On average intensive counseling alumni check three or more boxes. If you would like our Care Coordinator at Restoring the Soul to contact you regard to intensive counseling options, please fill our the form below and click Send.Name First Last PhoneEmail Anything else we need to know? Please check the box below.
