Michael John Cusick
Acquainted With Redemption
With a life story illustrating that truth is surely stranger than fiction, Michael began attending Alcoholics Anonymous at five years old. By age ten he was participating in family drug rehab, living in a trailer park, and laying the ground for a future as a psychotherapist. Really.
Despite early exposure to a life of recovery and sobriety, Michael’s brokenness went unchecked for almost three decades, allowing him to master the art of living as an imposter. While attending the University of Effingup, Michael received the gift of brokenness, where grace entered his life and continues to transform to this day.
Soul Caregiver and Healer
In 1998 a leadership development organization asked Michael if he would consider spending two weeks counseling a ministry couple. Having no idea what to expect he said yes. The results were astounding as to what was accomplished in two weeks. Since that time Michael has worked with countless couples and individuals in what is now called a Soul Care Intensive.
