What to Expect

We tailor every soul care intensive to your unique situation. No cookie-cutter programs, no boxes you have to fit into, and no hoops to jump through.

The intensive schedule

When you arrive, you will be welcomed by one of our staff.

They will give you a brief orientation to our offices, refreshments, and counselor offices so you feel situated and comfortable.

You’ll be welcomed by your intensive therapist and begin your first session.

You will meet daily for 3 hours from Monday through Friday in either the morning or the afternoon.

Each day after your session, we encourage you to hydrate, rest, and engage in life-giving self-care.

During your free time, you may work on any homework your therapist may assign — but we also encourage you to take as much time in the Colorado outdoors as possible!

Location and lodging

All intensives are held in Lakewood, Colorado — the gateway to the Rocky Mountains, in full view of our offices, with its breathtaking and majestic scenery.

Intensive fees do not cover travel and lodging. Our clients choose hotels, a VRBO, or an AirBnB. There is a group of hotels who offer our clients a discounted rate.

Snow covered Longs Peak, part of the Rocky Mountains stands tall in the background with green trees and the Downtown Denver skyscrapers as well as hotels, office buildings and apartment buildings filling the skyline.
